The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Risk & Compliance Specialist to join the Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) Risk, and Compliance team in either Everett, WA; Berkeley, MO; Chicago, IL; Hazelwood, MO; Kent, WA; North Charleston, SC; Plano, TX; Saint Charles, MO; or Seattle, WA

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess risks in IT&DA operations, oversee risk owners in developing mitigation plans, and collaborate with risk management teams to evaluate and enhance existing controls

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review control measures and ensure continuous compliance with requirements

  • Partner with Corporate Audit to remediate observations; ensure they are adequately addressed and follow established processes

  • Prepare, review, and present risk and compliance reports to executive and senior management using metrics and dashboards

  • Provide guidance and coaching, fostering a culture of compliance and risk awareness

  • Maintain IT&DA procedures (PROs) and Business Process Instructions (BPIs), ensuring compliance with established standards

  • Explore new methodologies and best practices to enhance proactive risk and compliance capabilities, while improving and maintaining our tools and leveraging automation

  • Execute SOX compliance testing, including the identification of control deficiencies and the development of remediation plans

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with risk management, regulatory and compliance topics

  • 3+ years of experience developing corrective action plans to respond to internal/external audit inspections

  • 3+ years of experience identifying and mitigating risk

  • 3+ years of experience communicating and presenting with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences

  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration

  • Experience in a risk and/or compliance role

  • Experience in IT SOX compliance, including knowledge of IT controls, frameworks (e.g., COSO, NIST), and related regulatory requirements

  • Experience with risk and compliance tools and technologies, along with proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for analyzing compliance data and generating insights

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $98,600 – $142,600
