Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Mid-Level or Lead Systems Engineer to support our dynamic team based in Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work across products, platforms, and functional areas to utilize systems solutions to develop and/or update Systems Engineering processes documentation to enhance systems engineering and software quality.
  • Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams to collaborate for issues in integration, validation and certification of the commercial aircraft systems.
  • Provide systems engineering support to product development and airplane programs across BCA, including supporting development of tactical development assurance deliverables and artifacts.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ year’s related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Development Assurance principles (ARP-4754, DO-178, and/or DO-254)
  • Systems and development program experience.
  • Compliance showing or finding experience for development assurance aspects per applicable regulations and guidance material (25.1301, 25.1309, AC 20-174)
  • Safety analysis related to ARP4754A objectives, preferably with experience in high integrity systems.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Mid-Level: $104,550 - $141,450

Summary pay range Lead: $128,350 - $173,650
