Job Description

At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. We’re committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that’s welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us.

Boeing Global Services (BGS) needs an energetic, talented, and forward-thinking first line leader to manage the Domestic Air Force Fighter and Strike Aircraft Integrated Support Planning & Management (ISP&M) team.  This leader will ensure appropriate team staffing, facilitate high-quality integration to help meet program commitments, identify and pursue process improvements, and grow the portfolio through new business opportunities.  This position will report directly to the Air Force Fighter & Strike Sustainment Chief Engineer.

The Domestic Air Force Fighter and Strike ISP&M team is made up of support planning and management specialists who are responsible for the sustainment of domestic US Air Force Fighter and Strike aircraft.  Currently this portfolio consists of the USAF and Air National Guard F-15 fleets as well as the A-10 Thunderbolt Advanced-Wing Continuation Kitting (ATTACK) program.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities for: provisioning, technical publications, system supportability analysis, training, supply support, obsolescence, as well as integrating with program management, supplier management, engineering and other functions for multiple programs with products in various life-cycle phases. Additionally, the candidate will have the ability to create a teaming environment across organizational boundaries, along with understanding the importance of open and honest communication.

The USAF F-15 program consists of multiple high-visibility projects such as Eagle Passive Active Warning and Survivability System (EPAWSS), F-15EX, and Advanced Displays Core Processor (ADCP) II that require extensive logistical coordination to ensure that vital capabilities make it to the domestic F-15 fleet. EPAWSS is an enabler for the F-15EX and potential future FMS sales.  This team also supports production and modernization efforts in Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) to ensure the successful post-production transition of those efforts to BGS sustainment.  In addition, multiple new business opportunities exist or are emerging in the international fighter and strike arena that will drive future portfolio growth.

The worldwide F-15 Eagle fleet is over 900 aircraft strong across the militaries of multiple countries and is experiencing historic growth, including production, delivery, and sustainment of 100 F-15EX aircraft with the possibility of additional domestic and foreign sales.

This challenging position is critical to the sustainment of all domestic F-15 fleets, which drives long-term jet affordability and availability. This ensures that the F-15 remains viable and effective for decades to come, paving the way for additional international sales.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and execute process improvements
  • Experience leading a team either formally or informally

Preferred Qualifications:
