Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has and exciting opportunity for multiple ProgramManagement Specialist - Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead (Level 5 or Level 6) to join the Air Dominance Team based in St. Louis, MO.

In this role you will facilitate development, integrity, consistency and integration of IPT program management products. You will support the program manager in leading program execution by coordinating program metrics and integrate the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices. You will support cross-organizational projects with oversight and management responsibility in support of our program goals and objectives. You will demonstrate proficiency in project management and will be required to maintain performance management and associated reporting.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry
  • Leads studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case
  • Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plan, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry
  • Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners. 
  • Ensures follow up action for issue resolution.
  • Demonstrate ability to be flexible and action-oriented

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate(s) will be required to work onsite at the listed location

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Ability to interface with suppliers, functional partners, and/or customers
  • Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements.
  • Able to work independently without high levels of supervision (self-motivated)
  • 5+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

Level 5: $136,850 – $185,150

Level 6: $157,250 – $212,750

Security Clearance

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
