Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Custodian to join our team in Heath, OH.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Possesses substantial knowledge and understanding of the general aspects of the custodial tasks and cleaning processes

  • Solves routine problems by following established custodial practices and procedures

  • Work is reviewed for overall adequacy by lead custodian. Under minimal supervision applies proper safety techniques and storage methods in the completion of daily custodial activities

  • Has demonstrated familiarity with security awareness requirements for assigned area

  • Maintains awareness of supply levels and communicates needs to assigned lead custodian

  • Assists lead custodian in delivery of supplies to required areas

  • Provides occasional guidance on established cleaning techniques to less experienced custodians

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in janitorial/custodial services

  • Able to stand and walk throughout work shift (6+ hours) as well as carry and lift up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong execution, communication and collaboration skills

  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, time management, and organization skills

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Summary pay range: USD $34,850 – $47,150

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
