POSITION PURPOSE:

Customer Training Scheduler schedules and performs logistics pertaining to flight training for one or more airplane model(s) and assists in forecasting optimal training schedules based upon strategic plan in alignment with Customers’ requirement and regulations.

This position will be hired initially on a 2-year fixed term contract with no opportunity to be renewed.

RESPONSIBILITIES, but not limited to:

Training Schedule and Coordination:

  • Develop and manage training plans for multiple aviation programs.
  • Assign instructors and coordinate their travel and logistical arrangements.
  • Ensure all training activities align with customer requirements and internal standards.

Instructor Training Records Management:

  • Maintain and update training records for a large pool of instructors across various aircraft types.
  • Utilize specialized systems (e.g. Comply 365) for data management and organize hard copy files.
  • Ensure data accuracy and readiness for audits and internal reviews.

Log Sheet Review and Management:

  • Oversee the review and management of instructor data entries to ensure compliance with customer log sheet systems.
  • Collaborate with instructors to minimize data input errors.

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collect and analyze training data and assignment records.
  • Provide detailed statistical reports on training performance, including periodic checks and evaluations.
  • Support the creation of progress reports with relevant data.

New Hire Instructors Flight License Conversion:

  • Manage administrative tasks related to flight license conversion for new hire instructors.
  • Coordinate the application process for required examinations and arrange relevant tutorials.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities for license verification and paperwork processing.

Engineering Processes

Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics). Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).

Engr Knowledge/Comprehension

Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems. The ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.

Systems Thinking

Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.

Language

Fluent in both spoken and written in English

Preferred Qualifications:

3 to 5 years Aviation industry experiences especially in scheduling position.

Location:

Incheon, and Seoul, South Korea (Primary location will be Incheon)

The selected candidate will be required to work on-site (with some flex) at Boeing Korea’s Incheon/Seoul office.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is NOT a negotiable benefit for the eligible candidate.

This is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.
