The Boeing Company’s Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) organization is currently seeking a Mid-Level Programmer Analyst to join the team in El Segundo, CA or Seal Beach, CA.

Join the Boeing IT Engineering and Product Support Group, where we deliver comprehensive software solutions that empower engineering and manufacturing product data for the Boeing Test and Evaluation organization! In this exciting role, you will work on the cutting-edge 777-9 and 777X programs, utilizing key applications like IBM Jazz Suite and DOORS to drive innovation and efficiency. You’ll also support CAD (Computer-aided Design) and PDM (Product Data Management) applications. We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated and likes to solve challenging and complex problems across a variety of domains.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications

  • Gathers and evaluates end user requirements

  • Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements

  • Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality

  • Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems

  • Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Object Oriented Design and Programming

  • 3+ years of experience working with COTS Integration in a Linux or Windows environment

  • 3+ years of experience with Linux Systems Administration

  • 3+ years of experience with Windows Systems Administration

  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with databases using SQL or PL/SQL

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

  • 5+ years of experience of application configuration and management of DOORS

  • 5+ years of experience of application configuration and management of IBM Jazz

  • 3+ years of experience working with all levels of leadership and individual contributors

  • 1+ years of experience working in aerospace, manufacturing, etc.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $93,500 – $135,700
