The Boeing Software Engineering function is looking to hire a Project Management Specialist within BCA/BGS to provide strategic management of the business operations and administrative functions for the Senior Director of BCA and BGS Software Engineering. We are looking for a proactive, strategic, and detail-oriented operations leader who is passionate about maximizing the business and providing a strategic impact. This role represents a unique opportunity to be exposed to and operate at the business strategy and operation level at a global company seeking to further their Software Engineering capabilities.

As the Project Management Specialist, you will serve as a strategic partner to the BCA/BGS Senior Director while also acting as a principal liaison with other senior Boeing engineering stakeholders at all levels. You will oversee and drive key initiatives, manage cross-functional projects, manage and monitor an organizational budget and ensure that our software capabilities are effectively integrated into our business strategy. Your unique blend of technical knowledge and leadership skills will be essential in driving operational excellence and fostering collaboration across teams.

This role requires a resourceful, self-driven, outcome-oriented individual with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to partner, execute, communicate skillfully, and lead through influence and collaboration across the company. The ideal candidate will have related business/software engineering/program management experience with senior-level advising, and interdepartmental collaboration. 

Position Responsibilities: 
•    Drive performance, execution, and accountability of action items and top strategic priorities agreed upon by the Enterprise Software Leadership Team 
•    Lead complex BCA and BGS Software Engineering projects related to new goals and priorities
•    Partner with Finance on Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) execution and program engagements such as organizational budget preparation and tracking 
•    Analyze and document business processes and workflows to identify integration opportunities and drive efficiency.
•    Own and continuously improve BCA/BGS Software Engineering operating cadence (e.g. BCA/BGS Software Leadership meetings, leadership off-sites, Risk Reviews, Software Metric Reviews, PMR, Look-Ahead and strategy)  
•    Support the productivity of leadership meetings by driving integrating planning, owning the coordination, agendas, and driving subsequent actions related to strategic direction agreed upon by BCA/BGS Software Leadership Team 
•    Analyze and drive content within internal communications strategy including team emails, websites, newsletters and videos 
•    Consults with key stakeholders and partners; leads projects and problem solving.  Recommends solutions and drives action in collaboration with the BCA/BGS Software Engineering leadership team.

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the selected candidate to relocate.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

•    Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study
•    5+ years of experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders
•    5+ years of experience managing complex projects
•    Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations to define and drive common objectives
•    Ability to drive change and transformation while dealing with ambiguity in a complex, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

•    Ability to work successfully with diverse range of stakeholders, including various functional disciplines (HR, Finance, Communication) and to lead and influence across multiple levels of leadership and functions within a matrixed organization 
•    Experienced with financial data analysis
•    Understanding of key financial concepts 
•    Ability to formulate budgets and financial models
•    High tolerance for ambiguity and complexity while working in time-sensitive and rapidly evolving situations
•    Advanced use of MS PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent) 
•    Executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal to create impactful emails, talking points, briefings, pre-read and presentation materials
•    Tableau visualization tool or analytics dashboard development experience 

Travel: Occasional travel may be required but would be less than 25%.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $123,250 - $192,050
