Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Benefits Specialist in Maryland Heights, MO or San Diego, CA or Swansea, IL.  The successful candidate will be the sole Benefits Specialist for an organization of close to 500 employees with multi-state domestic and international employees.  This person will be responsible for not only the day-to-day administration of the programs but will also make recommendations around new benefit opportunities to consider.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Administers benefit programs
  • Provides employee support on benefit and leave related issues
  • Maintains knowledge of compliance initiatives, trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in benefits including both domestic and international
  • Makes recommendations on designing and implementation of benefit plans
  • Manages benefit costs
  • Communicates benefits information to leadership and employees
  • Works with insurance providers and vendors to resolve employee issues
  • Analyzes and reports on benefits data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws including 3+ years of experience with benefits design and administration for a company of at least 200 employees in multiple states
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Proficiency with Workday and ADP Workforce Now
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel
  • International benefits administration

Pay & Benefits:

The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location and date of hire.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary base pay range $68,000 - $84,000
