Conducts assigned Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements. Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action. Assists less experienced personnel with Internal Security Controls. Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements. Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures through development, implementation and administration of an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programs. Perform Personnel Security tasks (works with databases, reviews files, conducts interviews, submittals to customers and schedules briefings) to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses. Conducts security awareness training and education program (e.g., briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate personnel to protect people, property and information. Performs Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements. Performs Sub-Contractor Management (e.g., providing contractual requirements and direction, site assistance visits and reviews) to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements. Participates, as requested, on enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) sub or task teams.

Recommend a Bachelor's degree.

Requires a Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Special Accesses.

Boeing Defense, Space & Security  (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-level Industrial Security Specialist to join our team located in Mesa, AZ .

Position Responsibilities:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.  The position will require the ability to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Program (SAP).

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of industrial security experience
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Special Access Programs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience supporting SCI
  • Prior A/CPSO, A/CSSO experience
  • More than 3 years of experience working processing or supporting CSSO or CPSO program access paperwork to include PAR, PSQ, SF-86
  • Experience working in an SCI/SAP/Aerospace security/intelligence community environment
  • Related Security Certification or familiarity with ICD-705

Summary pay range: USD 65,000 - 115,000
