The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Electronic & Electrical Engineering Electrophysics Engr/Scientist to join our team in Mesa, AZ.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Directs research into advanced concepts and prototypes for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components to develop new business opportunities.
  • Works directly with senior customers to develop concepts and requirements for future systems.
  • Directs development of innovative tools and resources to improve all aspects of requirement definition, systems integration and product testing.
  • Works with source selection teams to identify appropriate suppliers for critical programs.
  • Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle from manufacturing to customer use by coordinating product-wide corrective and preventive actions as required.
  • Leads development of large-scale proposals to support development of new business.
  • Works independently.

This position is Onsite. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform all work onsite in Mesa, AZ.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) with the ability to obtain a S/SAR clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

  • Active Secret Clearance

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Level 6: 20+ years of experience leading or working similar projects or teams with a Bachelor’s OR combination of technical education and work-related experience with a Masters
  • Radar Cross Section Design and Analysis experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 6: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidate must relocate at own expense.

Work Type: Part-Time 24 hours per week minimum

Summary pay range:

Level 6: $ 177,650 - 240,350
