Boeing’s Project, Assets, Construction, Engineering (PACE) Center of Expertise (COE) organization is seeking a Senior Operational Excellence Specialist to join their Project Management Operational Excellence team in North Charleston, SC; Ridley Park, PA; Auburn, WA; Everett, WA; Renton, WA; Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO or Mesa, AZ.

You will have the chance to engage meaningfully with sites across the Boeing portfolio to help improve our processes, tools and procedures. In addition, the position will support metrics development, communication, training, and improvement initiatives across the PACE organization. Travel is required for this position based on needs across the Enterprise ~25-50%.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee or lead aspects of COE improvement and enterprise initiatives

  • Monitor and communicate project status, current baselines, changes, risks/ issues/ opportunities, and help needed on initiatives

  • Oversee ongoing COE tasks and may serve as a liaison between internal COE stakeholders, additional COE's, subcontractors, and external suppliers

  • Performance Analysis (Leading indicators)

  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to develop metrics and KPI’s

  • Lead Enterprise initiatives, creation of standards, mentoring, training, and non-advocate reviews

  • Support Quarterly Site Performance Execution Reviews

  • Resolve issues to support of business operations by investigating, developing and preparing alternative solutions, impact statements, and recommendations

  • Lead studies and research efforts using varied media (such as financial data, performance reports, bench-marking studies, new technology, etc.) for determining feasibility, viability, and / or capability in support of a program, project or customer request

  • Prepare and present reports with options and recommendations that may have regional impact

  • Define methodology for data collection from various systems to perform analysis

  • Analyze trend data to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Domestic travel 25-50%

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

  • 5+ years of experience in Facilities Project Management and/or Construction Management

  • 3+ years of budgeting and forecasting experience

  • 3+ years of experience working with and developing a Long Range Business Plan (LRBP)

  • Experience teaching others and leading training activities

  • Experience in a leadership role

  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field

  • 10+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data

  • 5+ years of experience in program management

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and presenting recommendations to executive level management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $132,500 - $192,050
