Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Services, is looking for an Entry Level Quality Production Specialist(FAI) to join our team in Miami, FL.

The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite at the above-mentioned location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain QA internal and external systems such as QA helpdesk, IQMS, etc. working with customer quality engineers and internal stakeholders to ensure systems are up to date and actions close in a timely manner.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement and assist with RCCA activities.  Assist in internal, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Disposition and control of non-conforming products.
  • Review and approval of First Articles from suppliers. Perform First Articles for submission to customers.
  • Program and operate advanced inspection and test equipment, i.e., vision and instant measurement equipment, CMM, XREF, etc.
  • Work in conjunction with the Customer Quality Engineer and Quality Management with the implementation of new inspection, measuring and test equipment and customer demanded part verification requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Experience in QA inspection methods and procedures, including First Article Inspection
  • Experience in the usage of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Fluent in English (i.e., reading, writing, and verbal communication)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)

This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associate degree in related field of study
  • GD&T Skills – CMM, Layout, Vision Scope Systems
  • Knowledge of AS9100 requirements
  • Previous aerospace inspection experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Summary pay range: $25.00 P/H
