Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Numerical Control Programmer to join the team in North Charleston, SC.  The Numerical Control Programmer will be an integral member of the Propulsion South Carolina team, providing 3D Metrology support and solutions to a wide ranging list of programs, projects and components.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plan, check, set up and operate 3D measurement Equipment to scan and analyze production parts and tools to engineering requirements
  • Utilize Spatial Analyzer and Polyworks to analyze data and document measurement results
  • Prioritize and perform work according to a daily task list, hot list, or as assigned by lead technician
  • Provide information and clarification to customers on metrology processes
  • Work with other employees engaged in the Metrology team and assist in the development of improved processes for analyzing the measurement data
  • Develop analytical processes and tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the 3D metrology statement of work
  • Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1 year of experience operating metrology equipment
  •  1 year of experience utilizing 3D metrology measurement and analysis software

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years operating metrology equipment 
  • Experience with Polyworks and/or spatial analyzer
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting/ tooling equipment
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate

    Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

    Associate Level: $67,150- $90,850

    Mid-Level: $85,000- $115,000
