Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Business Operations Manager (Level K) to support MS&B in Oklahoma City, OK.

The individual will lead the management system for several programs. The ideal candidate will help create and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals.  Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Manage, develop, and motivate employees. Champion change, being intentional and purposeful driving an analytical Business Operations team.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Business Operations.
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects, processes and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Ensures work statement compliance.
  • Ensures consistent management system processes and tools are used.
  • Monitors and adjusts program or business unit work statement capacity.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading a large project or program which required the use of project management tools & processes
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership
  • 3+ years of experience with program oversight and metrics reporting (Integrated Master Schedule, Program Baselines, and Change Board)
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing, assessing and interpreting various types of data to produce detailed quick analyses to senior and executive management
  • Experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Master’s degree or higher
  • Ability to lead through change while demonstrating positive mindset
  • Functional expertise such as (not limited to) Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Contracts

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel: Ability to travel 10-20% of the time

Summary pay range for $104,550 - $141,450
