The Boeing Oklahoma City Estimating and Pricing team is seeking a Senior Estimating and Pricing Specialist Team Lead to join the team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position offers relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

As a team lead of the Estimating & Pricing Organization, you will lead a team of estimating and pricing specialists supporting our numerous platforms within the Mobility and Surveillance portfolio including: E-3. E-7, C-32, C-40, E-4B, and VC-25.  You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and training teammates in the estimating process while collaborating and coordinating with other functional teams to deliver on-time, compliant proposals to our customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of high value estimates from highly complex or unique technical requirements through the design, build and support stages of the program

  • Oversee high complexity/value business proposals, evaluates and makes recommendations based on complex requests for proposal, substantiates estimates and pricing and assembles price proposals

  • Develop unique/highly complex pricing models

  • Devise long term data analytics strategy while performing complex analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)

  • Assign, monitor and review daily work of teammates

  • Provide coaching in development of Priorities or Development Goals

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g. Estimating system manual, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Procurement integrity, Export Control relating to development of cost proposals

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing data and making recommendations

  • 3+ years of experience creating executive level presentations using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • 3+ years of experience as proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Experience with developing labor basis of estimates, utilizing data-driven estimating approaches

  • Experienced in leading a cross-functional team

  • Demonstrated time management and navigating multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience preparing time, cost and labor estimates

  • 5+ years of experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers

  • Experience with Commercial Off-The-Shelf pricing software, such as Pro-Pricer

  • Experience managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines

  • Experience collaborating across multiple functions and teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $98,600 - $133,400
