This Production Control Production Coordinator position provides support to Boeing flight line and backshop maintenance activities in support of the Heavy Airlift Wing (HAW) at Papa Air Base in Hungary.

Applicant will work under general supervision to provide support of activities associated with day-to-day operations of C-17 Globemaster III aircraft to meet HAW mission requirements.

Applicant will be required to work three shifts and weekends to support maintenance effort.

Responsibilities:

  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions.
  • Monitors work in process.
  • Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability.
  • Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
  • Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
  • Works under general supervision.

Required, basic qualifications:

  • This position is required to work one of three shifts Monday through Friday, weekends and holidays as required to support the flight line maintenance requirements.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain NATO or US security clearance
  • English is the primary language of the SAC community on the airbase in Papa. All technical data to perform the tasks and training are in English. Competency in reading, comprehension and speaking the English language is necessary.
  • Must be able to obtain work visa depending on requirements of the country
  • Ability to recognize and appreciate cultural differences.
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country as applicable.
  • The employment will be contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.
  • This requisition is for an International Local Hire position!

Preferred qualifications (nice to have):

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Relocation:

This position does NOT offer relocation.

Applicants must be able to obtain work permit/visa depending on requirements of the country.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position.

Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll.

Important: The employment will be contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.

Since you may be placed on an international assignment, your offer is contingent upon your ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which you will be assigned. These clearances are also a contingency for any family members who may be relocating with you.
