Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First-Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support the 737 Ramp team in Renton, Washington. This position is being hired with the intent to support 3rd shift coverage. However, due to potential internal staffing adjustments, the final shift assignment for the selected candidate may vary. Candidates must be open to working 3rd shift if needed.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • 3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques

  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Willing to work a 3rd Shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data

  • 1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)

  • Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $112,900 - $137,500
