Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Excellence Superintendent (Level M)to join our Training Team in Everett, Renton andAuburn/Frederickson, WA.

The primary location for this role will be either Everett or Renton, with frequent travel required between all listed sites. Candidates should also be prepared for both domestic and international travel, as needed.

As a Manufacturing Excellence Superintendent, you will lead our Training teams. This role is pivotal in developing and instructing comprehensive training programs, foundational and sustaining training, and recertification labs across BCA including Manufacturing, Quality, and Fabrication operations skills.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, a strategic approach to problem-solving, and the agility to execute plans in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of training professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions that enhance workforce capabilities

  • Formulate and execute strategic training plans that address the evolving needs of the BCA workforce

  • Promote a culture of inclusion and respect, ensuring that all team members feel valued and empowered to contribute

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging and motivating teams

  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, utilizing data-driven insights to refine and improve training methodologies

  • Balance multiple priorities and navigate ambiguous challenges while ensuring the delivery of high-quality training programs

  • Drive operational excellence by implementing best practices in training delivery and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, Renton and Auburn/Frederickson, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 8+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment

  • 5+ years of experience in a formal and/or informal leadership role

  • 3+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders

  • 3+ years' experience in a role that involves strategic planning and risk identification 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years of experience in a senior leadership position

  • 3+ years' experience with instructional principles and methodology (e.g. curriculum development, delivery, summary, assessment, remediation, motivation, engagement, etc.)

  • 3+ years' experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; and developing conclusions

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a training or educational environment, preferably in the aerospace industry

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successful tactical execution

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $173,000 - $213,000
