The Boeing Company is currently seeking Senior Contract Management Specialists to join the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Contracts team in Renton, WA.

Each selected candidate will be a key member of the commercial aircraft sales team in representing The Boeing Company to customers from around the world. In addition to managing contractual and technical risks, each selected candidate will play a critical role in managing the entire lifecycle of a commercial aircraft transaction, from negotiating the sale of the aircraft through its eventual delivery to the customer. Successful candidates will have the ability to balance The Boeing Company’s priorities while also maintaining strong relationships internally and externally.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the negotiation on the contracting of commercial aircraft sales, delivery and financing with a diverse set of customers
  • Prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer highly complex, high-value contractual agreements
  • Manage the economics and compliance of aircraft contracts with accuracy and diligence
  • Exercise appropriate signature authority and judgment
  • Develop, present, and carry out complex business and contractual solutions to preserve and expand the business
  • Advise on the development of strategy and execution for the placement of commercial products
  • Guide contract dispute resolution activities in coordination with other functions and disciplines
  • Mitigate business and contractual risks for The Boeing Company
  • Represent the organization and/or The Boeing Company in internal and external negotiations
  • Able to travel up to 25% domestically or internationally (Travel may be heavily concentrated over a short period of time)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and/or executing complex contracts and/or other business documents
  • 3+ years of customer-facing experience in related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience working in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Master’s Degree
  • Technical and/or working knowledge in airline, aviation or aerospace-related fields
  • Experience working with various levels within an organization
  • Experience presenting to a variety of audiences, in large and small groups
  • Experience partnering or leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Senior (Level 4): $107,100 - $144,900

Summary pay range Senior (Level 5): $130,050 - $175,950
