Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking a motivated seniorCost Account Management (CAM) - Engineer Support Analystto join us in Ridley Park, PA.  

The Cost Account Management (CAM) - Engineer Support Analyst will support the H47 Chinook program by compiling and managing technical engineering data and providing program-level integration and reporting of multiple electrical design efforts. The role ensures system-level platform integration within the projected operational environments, optimizing performance and execution across the program lifecycle.

Position Key Responsibilities:  

  • Engineering Integration & Support:

    • Interface with engineering teams across multiple Chinook programs to support platform-level electrical engineering.

    • Apply defined engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to support the program design and development of systems and new platform products.

    • Develop and refine functional requirements and product design maturity in alignment with technical statements of work.

  • Export / Import Control Compliance:

    • Serve as the Authorized Individual (AI) for Export/Import markings (EAR/ITAR) on engineering documentation based on technical content.

  • Cost Account Management (CAM):

    • Assist in defining and managing budgets for technical statements of work (SOWs).

    • Develop and maintain detailed Tier 3-5 schedules derived from engineering SOWs, including scope, labor hours, and staffing forecasts.

    • Perform and maintain Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts and budgets covering both non-recurring engineering (NRE) and recurring work.

    • Manage Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics and processes, including cost, schedule, and value tracking.

    • Conduct variance analyses and report on operational and financial performance.

    • Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies in alignment with product design maturity timelines.

  • Program Coordination:

    • Collaborate across functional groups including engineering, project teams, program management, customers, and suppliers.

    • Ensure alignment with overall program goals and objectives while tracking performance and budget adherence.

  • Performance Reporting:

    • Compile and analyze cost and schedule data from multiple sources to produce weekly EVM Earned Value Management Reports.

    • Provide financial and performance forecasts to leadership with recommendations based on business insights and metrics.

    • Track trends in cost/schedule performance and recommend adjustments as needed.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):  

  • Bachelor degree and 10+ years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

  • 3+ years' experience with technical engineering data integration in aerospace or defense programs.

  • 5+ years' experience with EVM Earned Value Systems and tools, including cost and schedule analysis.

  • 5+ years' experience with export/import regulations (EAR/ITAR); ability to assess and apply appropriate data markings.

  • 5+ years' experience with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • 5+ years' experience with developing a detailed schedules and manage complex budgets.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):  Provide any preferred skills.

Certifications - Certified Cost Account Manager (CAM), The Boeing Company or equivalent financial analyst experience

Technical Proficiency

  • Microsoft Excel: pivot‑table analytics, lookup/array formulas, Power Query automation, and dashboard creation

  • Microsoft PowerPoint: executive‑level slide design, data‑driven storytelling, and template standardization

Planning & Scheduling Skills

  • Integrated master scheduling (IMS) and critical‑path analysis for large aerospace and defense programs

  • Capacity planning & resource leveling for multi‑disciplinary engineering/production teams

  • Earned value management (EVM) tracking and variance analysis to support on‑time, on‑budget delivery

Preferred Strengths (high‑impact differentiators)

  • Cross‑functional collaboration between engineering, supply‑chain, and finance stakeholders

  • Strong data‑visualization instincts—translating complex metrics into clear decision‑ready insights

  • Proven record guiding teams through schedule recovery and risk‑mitigation workshops

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range (Level 4): $108,800 - $147,200
