Our Boeing Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Facilities Planner (3 or 4) tofocus on criticalplanning (to include site, business unit, and strategic planning). Our Planning team members partner with one or multiple Boeing Business Units, which include Boeing Global Services (BGS), Boeing Defense and Space (BDS), Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), and our Corporate Enterprise functions.

This onsite position located in San Antonio, Texas involves effective collaboration and relationship management with stakeholders across multiple organizations as well as domestic & international locations supporting Global Real Estate and Facilities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops multiple complex scopes, schedules, budgets, and provides status reviews; establishes key milestones and identifies potential opportunities, risks and issues

  • Solicits headcount projections and business plans to enable forecasting for company space planning efforts and facility requirements

  • Develops proposals for stakeholders; facilitates approval of the implementation plan to management

  • Uses occupancy tracking system to analyze space utilization and design density, as well as cost allocation to tenants for footprint optimization efforts

  • Uses knowledge of facilities and industry principles, concepts, best practices, and standards to develop strategic plans and advise internal BU’s

  • Compiles and analyzes complex data for business initiatives and team activities; leads and analyzes site studies/business scenarios and strategies to develop proposals and plans

  • Performs regional integration and site analysis, evaluates site capabilities, manufacturing processes and technology forecasts and incorporates into asset use strategies

  • Interacts with internal organizations and senior level management to identify and assess impact to the business operating plan

  • Manages and communicates multiple complex strategies, schedules, budgets to complete Boeing initiatives and business partner requirements 

  • Creates facilities plans; works with stakeholders and assesses resources to create the best value for the customer and the Company

  • Develops short term and long range facilities plans in support of stakeholder requirements

  • Demonstrates positive attitude towards change and eagerness to lead process improvements/initiatives as a change agent

  • Adapts to new environments, concepts and improvements; collaborates with cross-functional teams across the enterprise

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management)

  • Experience in MS Excel data analysis to include pivot tables and charts

  • 3+ years of experience developing & delivering presentations to senior leaders

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer facing role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years ofhigher education and/or related work experience

  • 5+ years of experience using AutoCAD or similar programs

  • 5+ years of experience with real estate project management & facilities space planning (e.g., office, warehouse, labs, flight line, manufacturing)

  • 3+ years of experience with proposal development

  • Experience developing long range business plans

  • Strategic thinking & problem solving skills; possess a curious & continuous improvement mindset

  • Self starter, ability to drive teams with competing priorities

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Mid-Level (Level 3) Summary pay range: $79,000 - $106,950

Senior (Level 4) Summary pay range: $97,750 - $132,250
