Boeing’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is seeking a 2nd Shift Facilities Multi-Services Manager (Level K) that will support the following locations Seattle, Tukwila, Kent, Renton, Auburn, Frederickson, Washington site(s). We are hiring two Manager positions; the SOW needs include support of Seattle/Tukwila/Kent sites; Frederickson site in Puyallup, Auburn, and Renton sites.

2nd shift (typically 3:00pm -11:30pm), Monday through Friday for this role. You may be required to work off shift, weekends and holidays in support of the facilities work statement as needed. You must participate in weekend duty rotation, approximately three (3) to five (5) weekends annually.

This 100% onsite position will lead a diverse team within facilities and maintenance, contracted services, and/or regional services activities. You will lead and manage factory service employees providing critical custodial services to our Boeing programs and products.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, develop, and motivate employees; promote and maintain a healthy safety culture

  • Manages employee activities within the facilities occupation including custodial, planning, analysis, project management, property administration, and maintenance

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers

  • Learns and then leads One BPS implementation efforts; learns and then leads with a Seek, Speak & Listen (SS&L) mindset

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role

  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering, facilities and/or maintenance role in a manufacturing environment

  • Willingness to work any shift as required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience teaching, mentoring, and coaching others

  • Custodial/janitorial background

  • Experience leading in a union environment

  • Experience managing team workloads (preventative, planned, and reactive service requests & activities)

  • Experience with safety regulations and quality standards

  • Self-starter; ability to demonstrate competencies in conflict and crisis management, collaboration, process improvement, people development

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Adaptability, change management, ability to shift priorities quickly

Shift:

This position is for 2nd shift. Flexibility required to provide support across shifts if needed on occasion.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $115,600 - $156,000
