The Boeing Company’s Learning and Development organization is currently seeking an Organizational Development Subject Matter Expert to join our team. We are open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 4 and Level 5 specialists to find the best fit for this position.

The team is open to this position being located at any of the following sites: Seattle, WA; Renton, WA; Everett, WA; Berkeley, MO; Arlington, VA; North Charleston, SC; Mesa, AZ; Portland, OR or San Antonio, TX.

This role will lead and support initiatives that enhance organizational health, culture, and effectiveness. They will partner with leadership to design and implement strategies that align with business goals and drive organizational transformation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and initiative design to foster effective change and improve team performance. They will also have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of organizational health, culture, and effectiveness to identify areas for improvement (below Exco level) 

  • Design and implement initiatives tied to change management, organizational effectiveness, strategy alignment, teaming, adoption, and organizational design to drive transformation

  • Analyze organizational structures, workflows, and team dynamics to diagnose potential barriers to success and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Design and execute programs that enhance team effectiveness, encourage adoption of new processes, and improve organizational design to support transformation objectives

  • Partner with business leaders to align organizational initiatives with strategic objectives to drive sustainable change

  • Provide expert guidance and support to leadership teams, ensuring the adoption of best practices in organizational design and development

  • Develop metrics and evaluation tools to measure the success and impact of implemented initiatives

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience related to Change Management

  • 5+ years of experience have providing process improvements and/or integration strategies

  • 5+ years of experience facilitating meetings and presenting to senior leaders

  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10+ years of experience in organizational design, change management, or related consulting roles

  • Expertise in conducting organizational assessments and diagnosing areas for improvement

  • Experience in designing and implementing strategic initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range (Level 4): $99,450 - $143,750
Summary pay range (Level 5): $126,650 - $182,850
