Boeing is seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Manager Financial Benefits Strategy to spearhead the evolution of our Global Financial Benefits Programs. This pivotal role will focus on developing and implementing innovative strategies in retirement plan strategy and financial well-being initiatives. This position can be located in Chicago, IL or Seattle, WA.

This position will collaborate closely with HR leadership, business and functional leaders in finance, communications and Trust Investments, and key Centers of Excellence (COEs) such as Leadership Development and Global Talent Strategy, as well as engage with financial and Boeing Global Engagement teams. Additionally, the Senior Manager will oversee consulting relationships, manage supplier selection, and ensure program oversight. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global Financial Benefits and Well-Being, this role will lead a dedicated team of 3-4 HR professionals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development: Design and manage a comprehensive multi-year retirement strategy roadmap aligned with Boeing’s Global Total Rewards philosophy. Drive innovation in retirement plans and financial well-being programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Lead strategic initiatives to secure senior leadership approvals for innovative program designs. This includes conducting risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, performing financial analyses, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) based on stakeholder feedback.
  • HR Operations Partnership: Partner with HR Operations leadership to ensure smooth implementations and plan operations.
  • Consulting Management: Oversee consulting relationships and budget management for all strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Supplier Selection: Lead Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to evaluate market capabilities and select the most suitable suppliers for delivering Boeing’s financial benefits programs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct surveys, focus groups, and gather stakeholder feedback to inform program development and drive innovation.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of benefits professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • HR Expertise: Deep subject-matter knowledge combined with creativity and flexibility to achieve positive business outcomes.
  • Direct Experience: Proven track record in creating and implementing retirement plan designs and financial well-being programs, with a focus on innovation and change management. 
  • Results Orientation: Demonstrated success in reimagining programs through creative and original solutions, driving measurable outcomes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience working with retirement and/or well-being programs
  • 10+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
  • 10+ years of experience managing teams
  • 10+ years of experience leading retirement strategy within a large, matrixed organization

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree and applicable certifications related to retirement benefits

Pay & Benefits:

The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $168,300 - $227,700
