The Boeing Company’s Learning and Development (L&D) organization is currently seeking a Senior Project Specialist to join the Organizational Development team.  This role will be responsible for consulting across multiple organizations or with large-scale leadership teams to provide expertise in the following areas: change management/adoption, org design/effectiveness, strategy alignment, and teaming and collaboration. The Project Specialist will play a key role in driving impactful interventions that improve organizational performance and align with business objectives. 

The successful candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving business needs. They will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

This opportunity can be based in Seattle, WA; Renton, WA; Everett, WA; Berkeley, MO; Arlington, VA; North Charleston, SC; Portland, OR; Mesa, AZ or San Antonio, TX.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential support to Executive and Organizational Development Senior Director in designing and developing Organizational Development engagements; provide insights and recommendations based on best practices and expertise​ 

  • Create visual representations of concepts, processes, and initiatives to enhance understanding and communication​

  • Present data insights and recommend interventions to leadership for approval

  • Design and execute initiatives that address organizational needs, focusing on the four pillars of organizational development; change management/adoption, org design/effectiveness, strategy alignment, and teaming and collaboration

  • Conduct comprehensive organizational analyses with leaders to identify challenges and opportunities within various business environments

  • Develop and apply assessment tools, observation/interview techniques, and surveys to evaluate individual styles, team dynamics, and overall organizational performance

  • Lead efforts to modify and improve current organizational development processes, tools, and techniques to enhance service delivery

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in organizational design, learning and development, or related roles

  • 5+ years of experience in change management

  • 5+ years of facilitation experience

  • 5+ years of experience with project management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field

  • Experience in leading large-scale organizational interventions

  • Expertise in developing and implementing organizational development tools, processes, and metrics

  • Experience consulting with senior leaders and influencing business outcomes

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $126,650 - $182,850
