The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of integration solutions focused on Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong architectural background, with expertise in system integrations, API management, and process optimization. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our integration landscape while ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards. This role can be located in Seattle, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Mesa, AZ; or North Charleston, SC.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Leadership: Serve as the primary architect for integrations related to Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence, ensuring scalable and efficient design solutions.
  • Process Evaluation: Analyze and evaluate existing time tracking and absence processes to identify areas for architectural improvement, while refraining from direct evaluation of payroll systems. Integration Expertise: Demonstrate deep expertise in integration processes relevant to Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence, Service Now while recognizing that certain integrations may not be applicable.
  • API Management: Design and implement API solutions using REST or SOAP, focusing on relevant integrations and optimizing resource utilization.
  • System Concepts: Leverage extensive knowledge of system architecture and experience with third-party application integrations, particularly concerning Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence.
  • Audit Support: Support pre- and post-activity audits related to time tracking and absence, ensuring architectural compliance and best practices are followed.
  • ERP Functionality: Utilize knowledge of ERP and system architecture concepts, specifically focusing on the functionality of Payroll, Time Tracking, and Attendance modules.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving input errors and other issues from third-party vendors or internal stakeholders, conducting root cause analysis and architectural reviews as needed.
  • Project Contribution: Contribute to the design, documentation, build, unit testing, and functional tasks associated with Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence projects, ensuring architectural integrity. Data Quality Assurance: Support data extraction, audit controls, and data quality alerts specifically related to Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence, ensuring architectural compliance.
  • End-User Support: Provide end-user support for troubleshooting and issue remediation, focusing on Time Tracking and Absence processes from an architectural perspective.
  • Problem Investigation: Investigate problems and identify opportunities for architectural solutions, managing escalations to the appropriate support team as necessary.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in system architecture and integrations related to Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence
  • 3+ years of experience with API design and management (REST/SOAP)
  • Experience with ERP systems and third-party application integrations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree
  • Excellent analytical, architectural design, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $153,000 - $207,000
