The Simulation Integration and Modeling Behavioral Modeling team is seeking a highly skilled, collaborative associate or experienced engineer to join our dynamic group. This role involves close collaboration with Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) partners to spearhead the development of sophisticated airplane behavioral systems. These systems will be meticulously crafted using MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Fortran, and the Graphical Simulation Development System (GSDS).

As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in creating and refining simulated models that are integral to a fully functional simulation environment. This environment is designed to rigorously test and validate the behavior of various airplane systems, ensuring they meet the stringent requirements necessary to complete critical Detailed Test Procedures (DTPs).

Your contribution will be essential in ensuring that our simulation models accurately represent real-world scenarios, providing stakeholders with confidence that the systems will perform as expected under all conditions. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Software Engineers - Simulation.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with BCA and Lab partners to understand and define system requirements.
  • Develop and integrate behavioral models using MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Fortran, and GSDS.
  • Ensure that simulated models are accurate and reliable for comprehensive testing.
  • Participate in the validation and verification process to ensure system functionality.
  • Support the execution of Detailed Test Procedures by providing robust simulation data.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• 2 years of experience in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Fortran

• 2 years of experience in Linux Environment

• 2 years of experience in Gitlab, Visual Studio Code

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years of experience in Knowledge of Airplane Systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a curiosity for how things work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Adept at working with vague requirements.
  • Experience in aerospace or related fields is highly desirable.

Summary pay range Associate: $96,050 - $129,950

Summary pay range Experienced: $118,150 - $159,850
