Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Manufacturing Operations Analyst Manager (Level K) to join the Skill Enhancement team based out of Renton and Seattle, Washington.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and diverse team and directly impacts the 737 Delivery Operations manufacturing teams. In this role, you will manage employees using advanced technical aircraft knowledge to create and deploy projects related to aviation testing, maintenance and other delivery operations statement of work.

In this role, you will lead a team of subject matter experts in Renton Preflight/ Renton Paint, as well as a team at the Seattle Delivery Center. You will interact with and support site leadership daily and work with your team to create action plans to address any upskilling needed for the manufacturing teams skillset. You will then create and deploy an upskilling schedule for the manufacturing teammates.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: You will lead a team of subject matter experts in Renton Preflight/Renton Paint and at the Seattle Delivery Center, emphasizing collaboration and support for site leadership.

  • Project Management: The role involves managing projects that address Delivery Operations' concerns, which requires advanced technical knowledge and the ability to develop and execute project plans.

  • Upskilling Initiatives: A significant part of the role is to assist with the skillset of Operations teams and create action plans for upskilling, ensuring that the workforce is equipped with the necessary skills.

  • Process Improvement: You will be responsible for implementing policies and procedures, setting operational goals, and leading process improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders is essential, as it fosters collaboration and ensures alignment with organizational goals.

  • Employee Development: Managing, developing, and motivating employees is a critical aspect, highlighting the importance of fostering a positive and productive work environment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support

  • 5+ years of experience leading a team formal or informally.

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Must be willing to work a variable shift/ site, as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment

  • 5+ years of experience with LEAN Methodologies

  • Experience in root cause analysis/systematic problem solving

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience in motivating diverse teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $117,800 - $136,400
