The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Contract Management Specialist based out of Tukwila, WA.

This position offers the opportunity to work on the E-7A Airborne Early Warning and Control program which is a commercial derivative aircraft based on Boeing Commercial Airplanes 737 NG. The dynamic nature of this role ensures that day-to-day responsibilities are diverse and ever-changing, making it ideal for individuals who excel in environments filled with innovative and unique challenges. You will join a team of experienced Boeing contracting professionals who are dedicated to helping you learn and grow in both the acquisition and execution of Boeing contracts.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Exercises appropriate signature authority in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies

  • Supports presentation of business solutions to preserve and expand the business

  • Supports external negotiations to a diverse set of customers

  • Prepares, negotiates, executes, interprets and administers legally binding contractual agreements for The Boeing Company

  • Coordinates with other internal functional disciplines

  • Summarizes contractual issues, supports development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with contract preparation and negotiation

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance

  • Experience in defense contracting

  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)

  • Certifications in Contract Management from organizations such as the National Contract Management Agency are desirable

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $72,250 – $97,750

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
