Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking a Lean Practitioner (Process Improvement), reporting to the Lean Manager, working out of the Winnipeg, MB office. The Lean Practitioner (Process Improvement Specialist) will join the Lean Team to support problem solving activities and facilitate Lean events to drive improvements and make sure there is BPS and compliance culture in place.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide trainings related Lean

  • Develop and execute Lean Plan, maintain program needs to achieve targeted goals

  • Participate/Lead problem solving activities

  • Collect and analyze data, drive improvements

  • Develop and motivate employees and mid-level managers

  • Develop standard work for internal departmental use

  • Perform audits and drive a change related Lean and compliance

  • Project management, information gathering and reporting

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience using lean principles

  • Experience working with cross functional teams

  • Experience working with lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access

  • Must be legally able to work in Canada

  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods

  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Bachelor in technical field (preferred Engineer degree)

  • Experience with project management

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada.  Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
