The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer for F-15 International Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) and Obsolescence located in Berkeley, MO.  You can expect to partner with the F-15EX and F/A-18 DMS teams, Design Engineers, Supplier Management, and Program Leadership to develop, coordinate, maintain, and present DMS risks, mitigation plans, and processes for F-15 International development, production, and campaign programs.

As a member of the team, you will have the ability to work across functional organizations to gain alignment on DMS roadmaps while understanding the programmatic impacts of the DMS planning on global scale.  They will have the ability to identify and concisely convey DMS impacts and required actions to senior and executive leadership during program reviews.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership across F-15 International programs for DMS forecasting and monitoring
  • Review and suggest draft wording for program Statements of Work and Contract Deliverables
  • Proactive coordination with a multi-functional team (Engineering, Program Management, Government Customers, Supplier Management) across multiple campaigns and programs
  • Develop and Present DMS briefings for F-15 review meetings (PMM, PMR, DMSRB, CCB, etc.)
  • Develop, Maintain, and Drive DMS processes
  • Partner with other Boeing Platforms on DMS Best Practices and coordinate cross-platform DMS issues to develop enterprise solutions
  • Coordinate, Prepare, Review and Deliver DMS CDRLs to meet contractual commitments
  • Provide team estimates for DMS activities on F-15 proposals
  • Perform Cost Account Manager duties for DMS team accounts on F-15 International programs

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 9+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 7+ years of work-related experience with a Master’s degree OR 4+ years of work-related experience with a PhD
  • Experience with aircraft systems and integration
  • Experience with reviewing and analyzing data and datasets
  • Experience compiling, summarizing, and presenting data to internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with SD-22
  • Experience with F-15 systems and integration
  • Experience with Obsolescence/DMS processes
  • Experience as a team leader or project leader interacting with senior/executive leadership
  • Basic understanding of electrical and/or electronic systems
  • Experience with Proposal Estimates and Campaign Lifecycles
  • Basic understanding of business and procurement processes
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:

Level 4: $114,750 - $155,250
