Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to support the Motor Freight team based out of Coppell, TX.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Boeing Knowledge

Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.

  • Carrier Knowledge

Knowledge of United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express, DHL, and Domestic and International Express Mail processes.

  • Data Packaging Procedures

Knowledge of packaging procedures for technical data (e.g., CD-ROMs, discs, web) or documents.

  • Information Retention Skills

Ability to gather, retain, and recall a variety of facts and data in written and/or verbal form for the achievement of work tasks and duties.

  • Operating Proc/Mat Handling

Knowledge of operating procedures for packaging and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, walking stackers, carts, dollies, box tapers).

  • Systems Thinking

Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.

  • Warehouse Operations

General knowledge of transportation, shipping, receiving, and storage procedures to understand and identify potential requirements and impacts (e.g., Electrostatic Discharge [ESD], hazardous material, OSHA, EHS).

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working in a warehouse or warehouse environment.

  • Knowledge of common warehouse technology, it's purposes and uses.

  • Knowledge of warehouse equipment, it's purposes and uses.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1 or more years of experience working in a warehouse or warehouse environment.

  • 1 or more years of experience with common warehouse technology, it's purposes and uses.

  • 1 or more years of experience with warehouse equipment, it's purposes and uses.

Typical Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED and typically 3 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: 39,100 - 52,900
