Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Manager (Level K) to join our BGS Distribution Services team, leading Supplier Management for the Systems Portfolio team. This team plays the critical role of building strong relationships with suppliers, working cross functionally with the product line, planning, quality, execution and operations teams on customer needs, and managing high value inventory dollars. You will need strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills to build and enhance relationships with internal stakeholders and key external suppliers in Dallas, TX.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Dallas, TX

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience managing supplier relationships.

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management and Procurement work and/or general Business Operations.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Distribution or Supplier management

  • SAP experience preferred.

Relocation

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: 118,150 - 159,850
