The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Human Resources (HR) team has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner Lead (HRBP) to join our BDS Manufacturing and Quality Functional HR team.  We have two opportunities at the BDS level that focus on a strategic business partner approach: one for BDS Total Quality and the other for BDS Materials Management and Production Control.

As the functional HR lead, you will collaborate with divisional HR partners to facilitate execution and manage daily employee actions across the organization. You will guide strategic business decisions alongside business leaders and work with divisionally aligned HRBP’s and Human Resources Generalists to ensure consistency and alignment throughout BDS.

The chosen candidate for the Quality role will work closely with the Vice President of BDS Total Quality and BDS Total Quality Executives, serving as the BDS liaison with Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and Boeing Global Services (BGS) Quality HR. This role will focus on driving functional talent solutions for BDS Total Quality, supporting enterprise initiatives, and executing critical HR initiatives related to team and talent.

The selected candidate for Materials Management will partner with the Senior Director of BDS Materials Management & Production Control to develop functional talent solutions for that area and lead strategic initiatives aimed at transforming the organization and its functions.

These positions can be based in Hazelwood, MO; Berkeley, MO; Everett, WA; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK; Ridley Park, PA; Saint Charles, MO; San Antonio, TX; or Tukwila, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily executive support to align, connect, and coordinate business activities

  • Lead, support, and collaborate the delivery of key HR processes (e.g. Annual Compensation Review (ACR), succession planning, executive movement, etc.)

  • Create and compile data and notes for monthly Best Team and Talent Reviews

  • Drive rigor into operating rhythm, assess effectiveness of operating rhythm and provide recommendations as needed

  • Coordinate with BDS HR and functional HR teams on deliverables

  • Utilize dashboard and metrics to support business needs

  • Communicate with HR peers and leaders on HR actions

  • Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives

  • Provide day-to-day support, coaching and guidance to assigned BDS functional team developing HR solutions to address organizational and talent needs

  • Lead integration efforts with divisional HR resources

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • 5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes

  • 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • 5+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects

  • 5+ years of experience working with employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

  • Human Resources certification

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams either formally or informally in a Human Resources role

  • Collaboration across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $119,000 - $186,300
