Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Fabrication Business Integrator to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood, Missouri!

This individual will serve as the Centers of Excellence Fabrication Business Integrator. This position will lead integrated strategies and plans across the value stream to drive disciplined business execution. Our primary responsibility is for Fabrication work statement management, including acquisition, integration and execution, and the associated customer & business partner coordination across sites and Fabrication Centers of Excellence (CoEs). We also provide oversight of capital management/integration, production/rate readiness and business process standardization.

The Integrator position is responsible for managing the on-boarding process of new Fabrication statements of work. This role involves project management across various functions to assess capability, capacity, quality, schedule, and cost. The Integrator will analyze data, provide feedback on assessment results, and collaborate with different departments to develop strategies, plans, and metrics using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools. The successful candidate will work at the appropriate organizational level to implement these strategies and plans.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Point of contact for new or follow-on work coming into BDS Fabrication
  • Communicate BDS Fab strategy, capabilities and capacities to the Programs
  • Host, plan, and execute Program Kick-off Meeting to Fab
  • Evaluate, coordinate and facilitate internal & external boarding of Statement of Work and follow standard on-boarding Gated Process
  • Coordinate Estimate & Proposal activity
  • Lock in Statements of Work and Manufacturing Commitment Agreements with Program.
  • Coordinate Emergent work requests
  • Support Program execution with respect to cost, quality, and schedule
  • Program Focal for BDS Fab Leadership, Program/Prime Leadership (BDS, BGS, BCA), Support Functional Leadership, and Suppliers
  • Interface with Customer to provide execution performance status
  • Coordinate PMMs, Change Boards, Re-Fires, GFE Returns & Work Movements.
  • Initiate SOW implementation upon award
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data
  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes
  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners)
  • 3+ years of experience with program management, project management and/or business operations
  • 1+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working in Earned Value Management
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience with schedule and budget management, stakeholder communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and requirements are met

Additional Information:

  • Position may require travel up to 10% of the time

Summary pay range: $93,500 – $126,500
