Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking a Mid-level Product Data Management Specialist to become part of the Data Management team in Long Beach, CA.

This position will focus on analysis of design compliance from our supplier base and work closely with Supplier Quality, Supplier Management, and the customer. It will also oversee the supplier data submittals and data calls placing requirements to our suppliers in support or spares and repair contracts. A successful candidate will be well organized, self-motivating, and have a thirst for learning new processes and approaches to understand the engineering release process and the relationship to engineering changes for the C-17.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops, documents and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.
  • Tracks and reports data to monitor supplier deviations and waivers.
  • Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
  • Knowledge of C-17 drawing structure and supplier management process and procedure to evaluate supplier escapes and communicate to the customer.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years' experience, skill, and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data.
  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality deliveries.
  • 3+ years' experience demonstrating the ability to utilize technological tools (e.g., PC's, web sites) and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data relevant to workloads and delivery schedules.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years' experience with C-17 data systems.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Mid-Level: $85,000 - $115,000


Export Control Requirements: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
