The Boeing Company is seeking a Financial Analyst Manager - Non-Labor Center of Excellence (COE) to lead material planning for Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Development programs to join our team in Mesa, AZ.

In this exciting role as the Financial Analyst Manager – Non-Labor COE, you will be spearheading a team of talented financial analysts on the Direct Non-Labor team supporting Defense programs. You’ll be at the forefront of engagement across the Direct Non-Labor team to support Estimates at Completion (EAC), Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance and other financial analyses supporting defense programs and supply chain. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages team of ~15 employees supporting multiple platforms and contract types

  • Provides 1st line management oversight of technical decisions/directions

  • Oversees and maintains quality and timeliness of deliverables produced by the team

  • Supports monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI) performance metrics for leadership reviews

  • Leads process improvements and special projects

  • Participates and supports management activities including but not limited to hiring, outreach, and employee development

  • Develops and implements integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of team strategies, goals, and objectives

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees, including new hires, mid-career, and lead analysts

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, or Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

  • 5+ years of experience with Earn Value Management (EVM)

  • Experience leading a team formally or informally

  • Experience developing, coaching and training financial analysts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience analyzing and managing contract direct supply base cost highly preferred

  • Experience in being a change champion and inspire others to challenge the status quo

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $107,100 - $144,900
