The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the team in Miami, FL.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (EHS) team within Boeing Global Services (BGS). This position will play a crucial role in supporting our Supply Chain operations, in the United States (US). The primary role for this position will be to partner with our ware Seattle distribution center and site leadership team to manage EHS programs, mitigate risks, and drive a positive safety culture.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reviews Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements

  • Maintains and analyzes basic records and provides reports on compliance performance to internal customers

  • Supports internal customers on EHS processes, programs, issues and requirements

  • Conducts injury investigations and root cause analysis

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 1+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)

  • 1+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk

  • 1+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership

  • Travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with safety and health audits

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in risk evaluation, solution development, and implementation

  • Experience in engineering tools and technological innovations

  • Experience with policies and systems

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Mid-Level (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:

This position will be for first shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $67,150 - $90,850

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $82,450 - $111,550
