Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Lifecycle Management Configuration Engineer to support our fleets located in Oklahoma, OK.

The Product Lifecycle Management Configuration Engineer is an essential role in ensuring engineering data is managed, configured, released and delivered according to customers’ requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Defines, documents and negotiates product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes.
  • Develops, documents and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.
  • Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; conducts audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Develops certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.
  • Develops plans, schedules and resource commitments to develop, test and deploy process improvements and changes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 1+ years of experience with document editing processes, common practices and techniques.
  • 1+ years of experience in the use of tools such as Microsoft Word to develop and properly format technical documentation to meet a standard.
  • 1+ years of experience in Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets).
  • 1+ years of experience in summarizing and/or reviewing documentation to develop informational or technical materials.
  • 1+ years of experience applying proper writing mechanics, grammar, and punctuation to reports, essays, or other detailed writings.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree in Engineering or Science.
  • ENOVIA V5 and ENOVIA V6/3DX experience is preferred
  • CAMEO, MSOSA experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple engineering teams.
  • Experience managing high level projects for Senior Leadership and Customers.
  • 1+ years of experience in Configuration Management/Data Management.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in

engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years'

related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET

accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:
