The C-17 Avionics and Flight Control Systems group is currently looking for an Associate Design and Analysis Engineer to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK.  This organization supports Boeing’s C-17 Program, the world's premier military airlift capability.

We are looking for a skilled Subsystem and Hardware Design and Test Engineer to support the entire product lifecycle.  This position requires knowledge of requirements analysis, systems design, lab design/specification, integration testing, flight testing, technical sub-contractor management, field support, and customer interactions.  The engineer will integrate and coordinate hardware and software development testing for the production and field sustainment of Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) and their associated equipment.  Additionally, this person will be responsible for performing formal qualification tests at the Boeing System Test Facility (STF).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience with hardware and software LRU development, test and qualification
  • Knowledgeable of communication subsystem design, requirement allocation and technical supplier coordination
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills across system, hardware and software architectures
  • Practical experience with lab equipment for hardware development, troubleshooting and data capture

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Military aircraft program experience
  • MIL-STD-1553B architecture and knowledge
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Demonstrated leadership, team building and mentoring skills

Summary pay range: $73,950 – $100,050
