The Boeing KC-135 program is seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist to support the KC-135 Fan Duct Replacement Program as part of the Complex Spares and Repairs team in Oklahoma City, OK.

This role will focus on overseeing all aspects of current contract execution and proposals culminating in full fleet replacement of new built, spare KC-135 Fan Ducts for the United States Air Force (USAF) customer. The candidate will successfully manage and lead the current contract, valued at over $251M, as well as follow-on proposals valued at $2B.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects, programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards
  • Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests
  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case
  • Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules
  • Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry
  • Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
  • Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders
  • Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in project/program management
  • Experience with Cost Account Manager (CAM) role & Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience leading or managing multiple cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in the aerospace industry or on Department of Defense (DOD) or United States Air Force (USAF) programs.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent military experience
  • 10+ years of project/program management
  • 10+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • Experience with Boeing and USAF/DoD proposal process
  • PMP certification
  • Experience working with KC-135 or a comparable DoD aircraft platform
  • Experience with baseline/change management, customer & supplier communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning and control.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $100,300 - $135,700
