BoeingCommercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Operations Superintendent (Level M) to support the Fabrication South Carolina Team based out of Orangeburg, South Carolina.

The successful candidate will develop and execute integrated plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved, as well as align authority and responsibilities of Frontline Leaders to execute all aspects of the FSCA strategy.

You will also review implementation plans, make appropriate adjustments, and resolve issues; along with coaching, counseling, mentoring and providing developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance teammate performance and expand capabilities of Frontline Leaders and others.

In this role you will also promote employee engagement and build an organizational culture that improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and mid-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.

  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.

  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Orangeburg Fabrication South Carolina site.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience leading and influencing managers or non-managers to meet organizational goals

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives, collaborating cross functionally and influencing positive change

  • 5+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Familiar with Boeing Production System (BPS) concepts

  • Experience with managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data

  • Degree or Certificate in Business, Management, Engineering, IE, PE, Aeronautical Sciences, Technology Field, Project Management or other relevant disciplines

  • Experience with recruiting talent (sourcing, onboarding, down-selection

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $153,850 - $208,150
