The Boeing Company is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team in Tukwila, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, inclusive team aimed at shaping the future of Human Resources (HR) at Boeing to drive business value for the P-8 program and beyond. We are looking for a business partner who will serve as the division’s lead workforce planning and people analytics focal. The ideal candidate will be masterful in Excel skills and know how to identify trends and develop recommendations that inform HR strategy and drive data backed decision making. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Level HR Business Partners to find the best fit for this position.

As a key member of the HR Team, you will gain strong understanding of the business imperatives of the program to unleash the power of our talent in all functions. This role will also serve as the lead workforce planning and analytics focal for the division responsible for leading the development, implementation, and sustainment of data-driven people strategies. This person should be able to use planning and analytics tools like Workday Adaptive Planning and Tableau to develop people metrics and insights that inform HR Strategy across the Mobility Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) division.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with the P-8 Vice President and executive leadership team to develop integrated HR initiatives and solutions including workforce planning and developing a talent pipeline to enable the business

  • Provide consultation and coaching to employees at all levels (management to non-management) on HR practices, processes

  • Utilize conflict resolution techniques to ensure team cohesion

  • Leverage data and predictive people analytics to answer questions and drive out insight that supports the business

  • Serve as MS&B division HR integrator for Adaptive Planning

  • Capture key talent data and outcome-based metrics to inform our HR strategy

  • Create engagement plans that cultivate an inclusive work environment

  • Use business intel to advocate on the behalf of the program to secure resources

  • Partner with MS&B HR team and HR Functions to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business

  • Support MS&B HR priorities, organizational structure, and long-range business plans including affordability/productivity, skill and talent discussions, development programs, and resource deployment

  • Develop standard people metrics that communicate the health of the organization, drive business priorities, and performance with the help of the MS&B HR Team and functional leaders

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner

  • 3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement

  • 3+ years of experience with data analytics and metric development

  • 3+ years of experience in resource forecasting, workforce strategy or people analytics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Human Resources certification

  • Active US Security Clearance

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • 3+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

  • 3+ years of experience capturing key talent data and outcome-based metrics to inform our HR strategy

  • HR experience working in aerospace or defense

  • Experience collaborating with HR and Functional leaders to develop standard people metrics that communicate the health of the organization, drive business priorities, and performance

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level3): $87,550 - $118,450
Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $111,350 - $150,650


Export Control Requirements: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
