The Support Equipment (SE) Test Equipment group within BGS is seeking an Associate Electrical Test Engineer in Berkeley, Missouri.  This position includes working with both internal and external customers, which some could be international, including countries like Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Korea.  Some travel may be required to accomplish necessary technical communications or install of equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical support hardware for the multiple platforms conforming to various specifications, both, military and non-military
  • Design would be, but not limited to, interface cables, test panels, electrical test sets, electronic testers, and interface devices (including RF)
  • Work from a requirement and convert that requirement into high quality SE hardware
  • Accomplish equipment design, generate drawings, and support hardware fabrication, integration and testing
  • Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements
  • Support fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
  • Assist suppliers when fabricating to our engineering drawings

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Ability to travel to domestic or international at least 10%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Active Security Clearance
  • Experience programing in C# or C++
  • Experience with electrical design through internships and/or projects.
  • Experience with Unigraphics or other drafting CAD tools, DxDesigner
  • Experience with use of oscilloscope, multi-meter and other lab equipment
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of tools
  • Experience with project management skills and communication skills
  • Highly motivated, self-starting and comfortable dealing with diverse people and disciplines
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication

Summary Pay Range: $79,900 - $108,100
