Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate/Experienced Design and Analysis Engineer to join our F/A-18E/F Mission Systems Integration and Analysis team located in Berkeley, MO

The successful candidate will be working on the latest avionics and sensors for the Super Hornet and Growler fleet. Applicants must have good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.  Experience with electronic circuit design and test is a plus.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements

  • Develop or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements

  • Perform system tests to verify operational and functional requirements

  • Assist in monitoring suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements

  • Support resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies

  • Research basic technologies for potential application to company business needs

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, Engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):  

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

  • Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.

  • Experience with electronic design, code and test

  • Experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.

  • Experience in developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation

  • Strong oral and written communications skills

Typical Education/Experience: 

Associate (Level2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range Associate (Level 2): $73,950 - $108,100

Summary pay range Experienced (Level 3): $89,250 - $129,950
