The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking an Experienced Engineering Technology Specialist to join our team in Berkeley, MO. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing ASIT lab operations & coordination across our labs supporting Air Dominance and Weapons programs. The scope of responsibility includes safety, quality, program execution and compliance support within our various System Integration Labs (SIL/AIL), Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulators (HILS), and Vehicle Management System (VMS) Labs. The position works closely with BT&E leadership, ASIT team members, and others to lead on safety, quality, execution, compliance and functional excellence.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop, document, implement, provide consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards
  • Provide training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Identify and validate user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability
  • Provide configuration management, coordinate changes, perform assessments of compliance and manage the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs
  • Represent company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use
  • Develop, maintain and distribute engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity
  • Collect, analyze and validate engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs
  • Work under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience as a mechanical technician or an electrical technician
  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft mechanical systems (Environmental Control Systems, hydraulics, fuels, controls)
  • 1+ years of lab test operations experience do you have
  • Experience with project management and able self-manage projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement
  • Experience installing/integrating hardware equipment/devices into a lab environment

Summary pay range: $84,150 – $113,850
