The Boeing Company is currently seeking a F-15 System Test Engineer (Associate) to join the Fighters Mission Systems team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

As a Test Engineer, you will own multiple capabilities for various customers and develop plans to verify these new capabilities, including identifying test equipment, hardware, and software required to successfully verify the functionality. You will work closely with other engineers in the lab in an environment where we strive to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of our testing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for the integration of mission systems on the F-15 aircraft.
  • Design, develop, and implement test procedures and methodologies to verify the functionality and performance of mission systems hardware and software.
  • Conduct thorough testing and analysis of mission systems integration, identifying and documenting any issues or defects.
  • Work closely with aircrew to support testing in mission relevant scenarios
  • Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality mission systems.
  • Utilize various testing tools and equipment to simulate real-world scenarios and validate the performance of mission systems.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation of all testing activities.
  • Collaborate with other test engineers to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, driving efficiency and effectiveness in the integration lab.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

  • An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years worked related experience with Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working in an avionics/mission systems lab environment
  • Experience with 1553, 1760, fiber, and ethernet data
  • Familiarity with F-15 aircraft
  • Familiarity with avionics or mission systems
  • Experience working in DOORS
  • Familiarity with ClearQuest

Typical Education:

Associate (Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range (Level 2 Associate): $79,900-$108,100
