The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level Defense Procurement Financial Analyst (PFA)– Cost Analyst located in Berkeley, MO.

As a part of the Defense Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA) team, PFAs support the development of the negotiation positions for the procurement of goods and services by conducting cost/price analysis of supplier proposals. PFAs support U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sale, and Direct Commercial Sale type contracts across multiple programs and platforms. Quantitative and statistical methods are used to correlate, compile and analyze supplier cost and non-cost data.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes supplier proposals to determine a fair and reasonable price position

  • Conducts cost/price analyses using statistical tools, market trend data and parametric models

  • Substantiates cost estimates and lead supplier and customer negotiations

  • Supports cross functional collaboration with Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain

  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements

  • Develops and improves cost analysis templates and tools

  • Communicates and presents skills needed

  • Supports travel if needed

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. a Master’s degree and related work experience)

  • 3+ years of experience in/with Microsoft Office (for example Excel, Word, Power Point)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with and/or exposure to supplier related data

  • Experience in performing business case or financial analysis

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $84,150 - $113,850
