Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Procurement Agent to support the T-7A Red Hawk Supply Chain. This role will include managing multiple suppliers on the Program as we move into the Low Rate Initial Production phase. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.
  • More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
  • More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 5 years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
  • More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
  • More than 5 years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Travel:

Up to 20%

Summary pay range:

Level 3: $74,800 – $98,700

Level 4: $95,200 - $126,000
